Now, Don\u2019t Be Offended\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

but, if Jews had any brains they\u2019d be Christians.<\/p>\n

Ann Coulter appeared on Donny Deutsch\u2019s CNBC television program, The Big Idea<\/em>, a few days ago.<\/p>\n

In the midst of discussing her new book, If Democrats Had Any Brains, They\u2019d Be Republicans<\/em>, she lectured her Jewish host that Jews needed to be perfected\u2026ya know, like her and fellow Christians. Those same perfect folks who killed and humiliated countless millions of G_d\u2019s children over the millennia for not accepting Christianity\u2019s version of the Divine plan. Also keep in mind that when the Coulters now get a taste of their own previous medicine, courtesy of Islamofascists, they throw a supreme hissyfit<\/p>\n

Not that it really makes a difference who\u2019s dishing intolerance out in G_d\u2019s name.<\/p>\n

Honest Ann ( I commend her for simply stating solid, traditional Christian beliefs) next was surprised that Donny seemed offended. I mean, after all, why can\u2019t Jews see the good Christian \u201clove\u201d brought them over the centuries\u2026 forced conversions, inquisitions, crusades, expulsions, blood libels, autos-da-fe, subjugation, pogroms, humiliation, countless massacres, the Holocaust\u2026<\/p>\n

They must be blind.<\/p>\n

Precisely<\/em>!<\/p>\n

Coulter wouldn\u2019t write the book I hinted at above, \u201cIf Jews Had Brains, They Would Be Christians,\u201d but best believe she thinks those stereotypical \u201csmart\u201d Hebes are stubborn and blind instead–things her own faith has taught for centuries\u2026as well as Jews being \u201csons of the Devil, doing your father\u2018s deeds.\u201d<\/p>\n

Churches in Europe still have statues and pictures commemorating such things\u2026Jews stabbing the host of the Eucharist to \u201ckill Jesus\u201d again; a fallen Jewish princess with blinders over her eyes; Jews kidnapping Christian children to use their blood for religious purposes; Jews poisoning wells to cause plague; and so forth. The first picture of a Jew in England is entitled, \u201cAaron, son of the Devil.\u201d And even the enlightened Michelangelo\u2019s sculpture of Moses has what most viewers will see as Devil\u2019s horns coming from his head\u2026regardless of the rays of light explanations.<\/p>\n

The cold, hard fact is that the road to Auschwitz was paved for centuries with such Christian \u201clove.\u201d<\/p>\n

Coulter went on to elaborate how Judaism was just primarily a religion of laws and how Jesus relieved the world of this burden.<\/p>\n

I guess she never heard of such things as these paraphrases from the Hebrew Bible\u2026not, the \u201cOld\u201d Testament\u2026<\/p>\n

Offer Me not your vain sacrifices if you do not justice for the widow and the orphan\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

What does the Lord require of thee but to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with thy G_d\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

Love they neighbor as thyself\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

Or, since Ann rejects Hebraic laws, she mustn\u2019t like the Ten Commandments.<\/p>\n

Etc., etc., and so forth.<\/p>\n

Yeh, there are laws. And there\u2019s Canon Law and such too.<\/p>\n

But the essence of Judaism is the ethical faith you see exemplified in the above paraphrases. Jews are supposed to show their love of G_d by how they act (mitzvot)\u2026not by just what they believe. And you don\u2019t see them forcing their beliefs on others.<\/p>\n

While the Coulter types typically talk of Judaism\u2019s \u201cexclusivity\u201d complex, in reality, it\u2019s just the opposite. It\u2019s Christianity which has historically claimed that it possessed the sole key to G_d, not Judaism\u2026ever.<\/p>\n

I had mixed feelings about Coulter up until now. Some say that this is just more of Coulter’s shtick. Not so. Her offense this time has a particularly bloody and tragic history behind it.<\/p>\n

Being a fan (while not always agreeing with anybody) of Sean Hannity, Bill O\u2019Reilly, and so forth, I can\u2019t be accused of having an anti-Conservative bias. So\u2026<\/p>\n

an ignorant witch (which rhymes with\u2026) she is\u2026I\u2019d love to share a podium with her. I\u2019m too dumb to give her the wiser Deutsch treatment. That\u2019s why he\u2019s rich and I\u2019m a teacher in debt up to his eyeballs.<\/p>\n

While Donny was baffled by Coulter\u2019s honesty, he was ineffective in how he handled it. And perhaps by necessity\u2026<\/p>\n

Back in medieval days, Christians loved to put Jews and their religion on public display for ridicule. These were known as disputations, and Jewish leaders were summoned to defend some aspect of their religion.<\/p>\n

As Ann lives in a country with some three hundred million Christians and about five million Jews (only about a third of whom really give a hoot), when she takes Deutsch to task on television, it rings an all-too- familiar tone\u2026something Jews have heard and had to survive for centuries.<\/p>\n

As the Jewish \u201cdefender\u201d of his people and faith walked a delicate line in how he responded during disputations (his minority people could be damned if he \u201cwon\u201d and damned if he \u201clost\u201d), so Donny needs to keep his ratings up and not offend the offender. And his own bosses and audience.<\/p>\n

Many Jews know Christian theology very well. I certainly do\u2026having studied it at the doctoral level, and so forth.<\/p>\n

But do Christians like Coulter ever ask themselves why Jews are \u201cstubborn\u201d and \u201cblind\u201d to the formers\u2019 attempts to cram their \u201clove\u201d up Semitic derrieres?<\/p>\n

Perhaps a well-known ancient Roman historian can explain it for them.<\/p>\n

You see, when Rome persecuted Christians, it was largely because the only thing they knew about the latter was that their leader was crucified as a Jewish patriot against Roman oppression. They were just Jews by another name\u2026those same Jews who took on the mighty Roman Empire for over a century for their freedom and independence. Visit the Arch of Titus, standing tall in Rome to this very day, to see how Rome felt about their victory over the Jews.<\/p>\n

So, for Coulter & Co., I suggest that they take a look below and see one of the real main reasons why Jews must reject their version of Divine \u201ctruth\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n

Here’s the Roman historian, Tacitus (Volume II, Book V), writing after Judaea, the tiny nation of the Jews, took on its mighty Roman imperial conquerors:<\/p>\n

“The Jews acknowledge one God only, and conceive of him by the mind alone, condemning, as impious, all who, with perishable materials, wrought into the human shape, form representations of the Deity. That Being, they say, is above all, and everlasting, neither susceptible of likeness nor subject to decay. In consequence, they allow no resemblance of Him in their city, much less in their temples. In this way they do not flatter their kings, nor show their respect for their Caesars.”<\/p>\n

You see, while other ancient peoples deified their great leaders, Jews bent over backwards to show the gulf between man and G_d\u2026the ethical G-d of history whom, by the way, they introduced to the world. Coulter would still be practicing fertility rights and such if not for this \u201cblind people\u2019s\u201d faith.<\/p>\n

In any other ancient society, Moses and David would have been turned into gods. The Jews recorded them as sinners instead.<\/p>\n

What I have written above would have gotten me killed over the centuries\u2026and my people would have likely been rounded up and burned in the local synagogue as well. I may lose some publisher friends as a result.<\/p>\n

Like Ann, however, I too must be honest. And I refuse to play the Ghetto Jew (Uncle Abe instead of Uncle Tom) role.<\/p>\n

I truly have dear Christian friends who were probably as sickened by Coulter\u2019s remarks as I was.<\/p>\n

But, there\u2019s a hard fact that they must face and reflect upon.<\/p>\n
